I thought it was about time for me to re-introduce myself, since I seem to be playing WoW regularly again, and you may be wondering about the very quiet hunter on the guild list who is still an Initiate after, uh, two years? Something like that?

I'm Ardynn, currently a 59 DE hunter, BM spec, newly stationed in Hellfire Peninsula. When I started playing WoW, this character's name was Arafel, since I thought my main would be a druid just like my longtime EQ toon (the original Ardynn). I quickly discovered that druid life was not for me, and played Arafel as my main until level 44, when real life interfered and I took a very extended break from the game. (Real life: my two girls, ages 5 and 2.) When I finally came back to the game this year, I saw that Blizzard had kindly created a way for me to pay $15 to get my REAL name back. Thanks Blizzard! Identity crisis resolved!
About me: I've played online games since the early months of EQ, back in the days when I had no kids and could stay up and raid until 2 in the morning. In those first EQ months I met Martin (Grimli), who turned out to share one half of my brain, and we roleplayed as siblings in EQ for years (back when people roleplayed in EQ, so truly, a century ago). Now I don't have much time for gaming, but WoW is a favorite indulgence of mine during my kid-free hours, and I'm grateful that the game designers actually made it possible for me to enjoy the game as a casual player.
Since I don't have many hours to play, and often have to leave the game at a moment's notice (translation: when my younger daughter wakes up from a nap), I have primarily soloed to 59 and have almost no group experience. As I finally make it to the higher levels, I'm hoping to rectify this, and I'm interested in learning about other classes and about raiding, since I've remained entirely clueless thus far. Even though I'll never have a lot of time to group and raid, I'd love to participate as my limited schedule allows.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know more of you as I get closer to 70. (Of course, as soon as I finally hit 70, they'll release the expansion and I'll be lagging behind again...
)Thanks for having me.
