Yeah, there are actually a bunch of points in Deeds' summary that aren't quite right but I wasn't going to call it out here.  I'll just refer people to the official DKP rules on the raids forum.

I read over the DKP rules that were posted. WoW is all I have to say about that! I get the gist of the idea but will probably be a while before I remember these things on my own rather than having to look back at the rules all the time!

As it said, its 1/3 of the points when youre on standby if I read it right!

Ok I have a couple more things for you guys. First of all I now only have 3 blue pieces to replace!!!!! Im working on the helm I want at the moment but it may take a while. I think I can craft one to use for now, but it wont be the one that I REALLY need. So total I need to replace my weapon, helm, and neck pieces. One step closer to epic boomkin!!!

Second, the Kara run tonight....I hate to admit, but I was about 10 minutes late for gather. I was wondering what you guys do when something comes up and you cant make it on time. For example, your internet is giving you problems, your kid is sick, traffic is bad, WoW is being dumb, etc?  I thought about calling Beenee so he could tell ya'll what was going on and that I would be there soon, but he wasnt home. Is there something I could have done better in this situation besides be on time? It was completely out of my hands......

Post in the raid thread after you can get back online.  Explain what happened.  Hopefully Beenee will be home next time to take the call.  Those of us that know each other in RL frequently call one another when things like this happen.

Missing a raid because of things out of your control is understandable and won't be held against you, has happened to us all at one point or another.  Just always remember to post about it afterwards.  If it appears to become a habit rather than a rare occasion, that's another thing.  But otherwise you are given the benefit of the doubt ^_^

I wanted to take this time to edit my app.
Just so everyone knows, I have moved up the epic ladder to only needing to replace 2 more blues instead of the (I believe 4) I had posted in my original app.

Grats on the upgrade.  No need to update your app, you're not being graded on your gear =).  You could be wearing grays and it wouldn't have much impact on your ability to get into the guild.
